Like many Cherokee artists, Veronica Gaston is a person of
multiple talents. The works featured above focus on her creations in
hand-made pottery, though she is also accomplished in jewelry,
beadwork, and textile weavings, having received honors in previous art
shows for the latter.
In 2001 Veronica embarked on a life-mission of which most
artists only dream; budgeting resources and mustering creative efforts
Ms. Gaston established Deer Creek Studios & Gifts which she
operates from her home-based studio located in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
Through this enterprise, Veronica produces and distributes her own
original art works to retail outlets, as well as offering distribution
services to other artists.
The pottery items pictured above are but a small sampling
of original works by Veronica Gaston -- we look forward to adding
sample works of her Textiles & Jewelry in the months to come.
