jujWelcome to New Traditions! We are a family owned American Indian Jewelry, personal adornment and material goods company.
The
owners are Teri, Onen, and Sini Rhoades. All three are citizens of the
Cherokee Nation. We are proud to announce that Sini won the “crown”
for Little Miss Cherokee (4-5 division) for the 2007-08 years and
placed in the top three for the last three years! We are very proud of
our heritage and work to promote our peoples’ history through new
objects of adornment for self or home. Whenever possible and practical
our items are made the “old way” or in a manner we feel would have been
used by our ancestors a hundred or more years ago. Our items are
produced through a life time of study. Much of our work is a
continuation in someway of all that John (Dusty) Rhoades has taught.
We are proud to call him father and grandfather. We hope we bring
forward the many disciplines and techniques he gifted us with in a new
and exciting way.
