Lisa lives on a ranch near Tahlequah, Oklahona. Her passion is traditional pottery and eighteenth century clothing and beadwork. She has been making traditional pottery since 2005. She digs her own clay, cleans and processes it, and builds her pottery by hand coiling, and fire in a wood fire. She also does southeast applique Cherokee beadwork, using authentic materials to the late 1700's to 1800's.
Lisa's heroes are those who have worked tirelessly to preserve and revive lost art forms and those who were brave and persistent enough to open the doors for the rest of us.
