The Cherokee Artists Association is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization committed to 
promoting authentic Native American Art and protecting the interests of those who create it. 
Our officers and membership consists of fellow Southeastern Native American Artists
from all over the United States and patrons of Southeastern Tribal arts.

         The Cherokee Artists Association also operates a cooperative gallery at

202 East Fifth Street in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Cherokee Art Market October 9 - 10

Cherokee Artist's Association will have a booth at the 2010 Cherokee Art Market.  All CAA members who would like to participate in the exhibit, must be able to volunteer to set up and work the booth.  The booth is free to members and all participants will be eligible to enter their work in the competition. All works in the booth must created within the last year and have not been previously shown at the CAA gallery.   Artists must RSVP to CAA via EMAIL by July 31st to be able to participate in the CAA booth.

Don't miss this rare opportunity to add to your Native American art collection for only $100!!  These generous artists are donating their beautiful works of art to raise funds for the CAA and each piece is only $100!!  Come help us support the CAA!

Cherokee Artist's Association 12 x 12 Art Show
Cherokee Artist's Association will also be having it's 12 x 12 Art Show at our gallery as part of the Art of Living Artwalk event.  This is a great opportunity to purchase artworks from your favorite Native American artists for only $100!  All 12" x 12" works are being donated by the artists to benefit the Cherokee Artist's Association.  Artist's who would like to donate a piece that is no larger than 12" x 12", may do so by contacting Cherokee Artist's Association at: info@cherokeeartistsassociation.org

Brady Arts Festival - Downtown Tulsa
May 14, 15, 16 - Local Art Matters is holding a Spring Art Show in the Brady Arts District featuring work by Oklahoma Artists. Artists are invited to participate in the first annual “Art and Soul of Tulsa” show, a three-day art show/event taking place on Brady Street between Boulder and Boston, and Main Street between Brady and Cameron, May 14, 15, and 16. Along with visual artists, there is a music stage, and, a performance/dance/spoken word stage. The Art Car Parade is scheduled for Saturday, and we have laid out the booths so that the cars can travel through the show, from Boston to Brady. For more info: http://lamok.org/events.php
